How to Use
- Check one student at a time. Give a student a card of what you think is their level to try.
- Make sure you understand the introduction. Copy the “record” for the card the student will read.
- Have the student read the card.
- While the student is reading, take notes on the “record”.
- Afterwards, use the questions on the “record” to check the student’s comprehension.
The Benchmark Kit can be used before a student moves up to the next level, to check and make sure that they are ready to move up to that level.
