| 【Main revisions: two types of QR codes: audio and video】
1 Audio now with QR code. Additional audio e.g. Communication Activity on top right page. (Please note that there is no CD for students). 2 Chants videos with QR code. 18 of the 30 chants/passages/stories on the left-hand page now have video clips, making it easier to remember the content on the left-hand side of the page. 3 Appendix at the end of the book: more pages for review and retention, and the Words column also visualizes the vocabulary of the cards and teaching tools used in the activities on the right-hand page. 4 Main text: changes and corrections have been made in line with the times and the guidelines of the Ministry of Education textbooks, and some pictures have been leveraged to encourage more speech. Q: This year, I will start using the LW series for the first time, switching from materials from another company to the LW series. If so, which edition is better?
A: If you are new to LW, we recommend the 2nd Edition; purchase the Teacher’s Pack and follow the Manual for one year. (The 2nd Edition, which is fully compliant with the Teacher’s Manual, allows you to teach without confusion.)
If you are a long-time user, familiar with Book 2 and prefer the app to the Student CD, please use the 3rd Edition.
The changes are intended to keep the teacher’s items to the point where they do not need to be replaced. Additional cards and other items will be available on the digital website APRICOT-Online, so please be patient.
